An end-to-end Product Designer, shaped by start-up environments.

The flagship application needed a more unified and polished UI to provide users with a more seamless experience and support branding changes. There was no common resource or styling documentation for front-end engineers, creating a development environment where UI design was undefined and features in production did not have a holistic appearance.

The O’Donnell Metal Deck brokerage was in the midst of a multi-year project to modernize their company by integrating technology solutions that will allow them to be the fastest and best-priced steel brokerage on the market, but their capacity to handle more and more jobs had become a concern.

The company wanted to freshen up their logo and branding to reflect their growth and stand out among competitors, while still maintaining brand recognition.

Over the course of three weeks, I was part of a research project for the District of Columbia Government. The first two weeks were applied to user research and synthesis, and the final week was centered around designing a solution to a problem found in our research.
